Our Story
We Have One World was sparked in 2020 during the first COVID-19 lockdown, when siblings Katherine and Stephen Wang felt fortunate to have music accompany them during that difficult time. Wanting to share that gift and help others, they proposed a Christmas Eve Zoom concert to bring people tougher, lift spirits and raise funds for children in need.
Together with family and friends, they helped inspire what gradually grew into an annual concert series - growing each year in scale and ambition, and eventually expanding to include auctions and raffles alongside the performances. Katherine and Stephen remain actively involved today as WHOW continues to grow in reach and impact. What began as a simple heartfelt online concert has since raised over £50,000 in support of worthwhile causes and charities, such as Save the Children.
